Aluminum High Lip Wheel Rim 2.15 x 18 40 Spoke BMW r60/2 r69s r50/2 r60us r69us

They have no stampings, no finish other than polished aluminum, classic high shouldered OEM "H" profile. Inner width 2.15", outer width 2.85", for 18 stock size tires. This rim is made to replace BMW # 3631 4038 211 (front and rear wheel rim)-- so if the parts diagram for your bike shows the same part number, this rim will fit your bike.

I had these made in China for the BMW /2 hub (10" diameter, 2.5" deep, 40 spoke), and when mounted with the stock BMW spokes(140 x3.5mm), the spokes touch. The last 2 photos are of wheels I had built, and run on an r69s. Note the double cross pattern. I have BMW singles, /2 twins with chrome wheels, and a Zundapp KS601, the spokes all touch. The OEM Weinmann rims were drilled so that the spokes would not touch each other.

These do not have the five dimples. I feel the quality and weight of these is superior to the OEM Weinmann rims made 50 years ago. BTW, the Weinmann brand is now a Chinese company that makes bicycle rims.

I do have the /2 140mm stainless steel spoke kits for this rim, same as those used to make the wheel in the last photos, for sale now with a free rim strip. Build a complete wheel for less than some charge for a rim.
